The Hildmanns Cereus (also called Queen of the Night), is a great cactus for the Arizona climate. It grows to be to 10 ft. tall (or taller), and is treelike in shape, forming spines that reach upward and outward which can spread to 15 ft. They have a striking bluish-green color and produce large white flowers that are 6-7 inches long and 5 inches across. This Cereus does great in full sun to partial shade and can tolerate very hot summers and cooler Arizona winters. The thorns are small, which is a nice consideration to some. It is a fast grower and can serve to be a beautiful specimen cactus.
Please take the time to check out the rest of the cacti here at Envirogreen Landscape Design – Build.
